Plus they already discussed the what-if-this-is-just-some-big-prank thing and decided that would be dumb. And this is exactly along those lines too, so I think we’re clear XD

Because on some levels, it looks fake, and then there are some parts that just look really real.

It’s real, Jay and Alex changed their names to Troy and Joseph and have another Youtube account to post silly videos of their everyday life while Tim sometimes joins in on the fun.

Okay, can we please clear something up here? There aren’t three Maskies. Time and again I’ve seen pictures of “evidence” that there are three different masks worn by people in ToTheArk videos (and Entry #####). This is not the case. There is only one Masky, with only one mask (the one in Entry #26 is different, but I don’t think that one’s Masky; I think it’s more likely to be Alex’s attempt at a mask, but my crazy theories aren’t on trial here).

For the record, this is the evidence most people use for there being three Maskies.

There’s the first Masky that we all know and love.

Here’s another Masky, looking slightly different from the first one.

And here’s a third Masky, looking, once again, different from the others.

Okay, you know those are all the same mask, right? That’s a visual technique called blurring which was all over that video, and most other Marble Hornets videos. The reason it looks different is because it’s black and white and blurred, making the features look different (and even then you can still tell they’re roughly the same design). You can even still sort of see the eyebrows on the second one. I really don’t think there needs to be as much debate about this as there is.

Also, for the record, here’s a screencap of the faux-Masky from Entry #26.

So yes all of this, I completely agree.

However there was some sort of shady business about twins mentioned sometime back in Classified and I think that sort of caused people to go back and try to double check whether or not all the masks were exactly the same.

Which is kind of. Well I mean if they’re twins, they’re going to look identical.

So I really doubt there was anyone other than Tim in ###### but it’s not impossible, I suppose. And it could just be twins in like a symbolic sense, more that their intentions are the same and there are two of them and not that they literally look exactly alike. Or it could be not referring to Maskies at all, who even knows.

Still it’s a thing worth not forgetting. Cause it happened.

Absolutely 100% this this this oh my god.

I mean for me, 52 was all the proof I ever needed in my entire life that Alex did not want to be doing the things he’s been doing. In 52 he was clearly, clearly upset and scared and angry yes but his anger was more focused on his situation than pinpointed into a murderous rage at Jay and Jess.

But this is wonderful support for that too. I mean I’m hoping it is. I would like it to just mean that Alex is upset with Jay for putting himself that in reach of TO, Alex knows TO in there and maybe thus far Alex has been avoiding TO as much as possible. He doesn’t want to go in there because he knows TO is there. But if Jay is in there, he must feel some obligation to go in after him even if it risks running into TO. 

On the other hand, Alex could have had it all plotted out in his head step by step, very carefully. It could be that going into the woods screwed up something Alex had decided needed to happen in order for him to successfully murder Jay, and that’s why he’s frustrated. 

Obviously we don’t know for sure but I always tend to lean towards Alex being generally an unintentional bad guy. So. Yes.

And the Operator was a Healer.

So Alex started carrying his camera everywhere, and Brian and Seth and Tim all started getting infected, and his tapes became increasingly infected…

And the Operator worked cleanup. Getting rid of contaminated corpses, trying to heal the infected, trying to heal the source, right from the start.

And Jay got infected by watching the videos.

So the Operator started trying to heal him.

What if Alex knew he was infecting people? What if he wanted to infect as many people as possible? And he was angry at the Operator for trying to clean up, or his disease was taking control of him?

And now Jay is an unwitting pawn of the disease, trying to get as many people infected over the internet.

What if everyone on tumblr and youtube and twitter calling attention to it was a carrier, or equally infected? And all the offshoot or copycats were infected?

What if the Operator’s distortion is the anti-frequency to the disease, to try to match it in direct opposition? And if he wiped Jay’s memory to try and heal him of Alex’s influence, especially since he’d spent such close company with Alex right before the wipe?

The two locations Tim and Alex were interested in were an old doctor’s office and an abandoned hospital. The Operator’s influence was seen or heard both times… Tim and Brian both were discovered there. One went there for safety, the other was taken to a room by the Operator…

Maybe to be healed?

Now consider this all, and exactly what a brainf*** it could possibly be. Then ask yourself if Troy would really troll you like this.

Yes he would.

And if TTA has been warning us about Alex for such a long while… You have to think…
